Description
This modern property overlooks the South Tyne Valley. The town of Alston is England’s highest Market Town with cobbled streets and views over the solitary fells in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Red squirrels can often be seen from the lounge/dining room windows!

Nearby
There are several pubs and some interesting shops a short walk away. Hadrian’s Wall (1/2 hour drive). Cross Fell is a good day walk, giving splendid views of Northern Lakeland. The South Tyne Trail and Pennine Way pass the doorstep.

Parking
In the grounds for 10 cars, overflow parking at Henderson’s Garage (2 min walk).

Other facilities
The dining room seats 30 and has steps down to the lounge area, which has soft seating for 15. Full central heating and good mobile phone reception. The Manager lives at the rear of the building.
