A 17th Century converted barn in the heart of this quiet Lakeland village. Ideal for exploring some of the Lake District's most dramatic scenery.

Meals
The self-catering kitchen contains 3 domestic sized gas cookers with oven, grills and burners, microwave, 2 fridges, a freezer, toaster and a full range of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery for 40 people. Tea towels are provided.

Meals can be provided if arranged in advance.

Langdale Valley, extensive walking and climbing. Mountain bike routes. Ambleside, Grasmere and Windermere for shopping, boat rides, museums and art galleries.

Accommodation
40 beds arranged in 6x2, 1x4 and 4x6 bedded rooms. All bed linen is provided.

Parking
No parking on site, drop-off point only. Parking in the village (pay and display, free to National Trust members and overnight). Other free parking a short walk away.

Washrooms each have one shower and 3 WCs - there are two additional showers on the upstairs corridor, please bring your own towels.
