Description
This 'Green Beacon' venue has numerous environmental features and offers an excellent degree of comfort. In the heart of the North Pennines AONB, the views of the Teesdale Moors from the lounge should not be missed.

The self-catering kitchen is next to the dining room/lounge. Full cooked breakfasts, picnic lunches and evening meals are available if booked in advance.

Nearby
Walking and cycling, rugged, moorland countryside. Market town of Barnard Castle, Waterfalls of High Force, Low Force and Cauldron Snout. Middleton in Teesdale (7 miles).

Accommodation
A maximum of 30 people to shared beds in: 2x2, 4x4, 1x5 en-suite, ground floor rooms and 1x8 bedrooms.

Parking
In the grounds for 8 cars, plus roadside parking.

Other facilities
The open plan lounge/dining room, which seats 32, enjoys superb views of the moors. There is central heating, an open fire, TV, garden and payphone. YHA staff are resident in the building
