Walking and cycling, rugged, moorland countryside. Market town of Barnard Castle, Waterfalls of High Force, Low Force and Cauldron Snout. Middleton in Teesdale (7 miles).

A maximum of 30 people to shared beds in: 2x2, 4x4, 1x5 en-suite, ground floor rooms and 1x8 bedrooms.

Parking
In the grounds for 8 cars, plus roadside parking.

The open plan lounge/dining room, which seats 32, enjoys superb views of the moors. There is central heating, an open fire, TV, garden and payphone. YHA staff are resident in the building
