This attractive, 17th Century stone water mill, with its own water wheel and mill race, stands on the banks of the River Cocker. Surrounded by trees at the northern end of the Lake District, it enjoys easy access to the western lakes.

The dining room/lounge is on the first floor and is equipped with tables, chairs and soft seating. The dining area seats 20 comfortably, while the lounge area seats 8. There is a payphone, central heating, TV/video/DVD (no reception) and a garden. YHA staff are resident in the building. Due to the proximity of the river, children should be supervised at all times.
