Coniston Coppermines, Cumbria 



Originally the home of the manager of the old copper mines, this building looks out over some of the most rugged fells in the Lake District. In a wonderfully remote mountain setting, surrounded by the Coniston Fells, there are few other buildings in the vicinity.

The dining room seats 26. The lounge, on the first floor with magnificent views and a coal-burning stove, has soft seating for 20. There is central heating and a payphone, which can accept incoming calls.
