Originally two adjoining cottages, recently refurbished to a high standard, Ennerdale is set in its own grounds in a wooded valley surrounded by fells and ridges in the western part of the Lake District. A real 'away from it all' location, deep in the Ennerdale Valley.

The combined dining room/lounge has great views across the fells with seating 24 on dining chairs and 4 on easy chairs. There is a payphone, central heating, garden and a wood-burner. YHA staff are resident in an adjacent building.
