A traditionally built, stone cottage in the grounds of Hawse End Outdoor Centre. At the foot of Catbell's it overlooks Derwentwater at the head of the magnificent Borrowdale Valley and is directly across the lake from the popular town of Keswick, which can be accessed by the nearby launch or a lakeside walk.

There is a basic self-catering kitchen area with domestic oven. A catering service, including buffets and barbecues may be available, by prior arrangement.

Heart of Northern Lake District's mountains and lakes, rock climbing, pub within walking distance. Keswick, via road and launch for indoor climbing, shopping, cinema, museums, cafes and restaurants.
