Recently refurbished to a high standard this building was once the former Literary and Scientific Institute built in 1895 and located in the beautiful World Heritage site of the Ironbridge Gorge where the Industrial Revolution began. It provides a comfortable base for exploring the fascinating area.

The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups of people. The open plan kitchen looks out onto the dining room, which means you can still socialise whilst you cook!

Parking
Limited on site, but guests may use the nearby museum car park, 5 minutes walk away. Please do not double park an the driveway, emergency access is required.

The dining room seats 50 and the games room/lounge seats 25. There is a large, sloping garden and games machines. YHA staff are on site, but use a seperate entrance.
